Commonquestions.

What age is kids boxing for?

Ages 9 to 12. If your child is just outside that, message me and I will tell you honestly whether it suits them.

Is boxing safe for children?

Yes. No sparring and no head contact. Footwork, stance, the jab, pads with me, and conditioning scaled to their age.

How long is a kids boxing session?

Thirty minutes. Focus drops off well before an hour at this age.

Does my child need experience or equipment?

Neither. Gloves and wraps are here. Bring trainers, comfortable clothes and water.

Can my child train with friends or a sibling?

Yes, and it costs less. A private group is R200 each for two to six kids, and you choose who is in it.

Can I stay and watch?

Yes. Most parents sit in on the first one.

Who coaches the session?

I do, every session. Doron Zinman, Cape Town born and raised, 3–1 as a professional.

Where is the gym?

Third floor, 56 Regent Road, Sea Point. Easy from Green Point, Mouille Point, Bantry Bay, Fresnaye, Clifton, Camps Bay and the V&A Waterfront.
